The only moment your enemy should fully understand your plan is just before their death.

Notes[]

The great disadvantage of Poison decks that use cards like Belladonna and Arsenic is that you sometimes need a lot of damage now, and not just over the course of your turn. Coup de Grâce is an excellent way to shore up your deck against this disadvantage: If you have, say, a Belladonna, an Arsenic, and a Misdirect or two, then for the price of 6 gold you can deal 6-8 damage now.

As the card's name implies, it's also a great way for dealing a killing blow that your opponent doesn't expect they'll have to deal with until later, once your poison has laid into them for a while longer.
