Benediction is a card that is used for ally centered Vespitole decks. It can be used in any kind of ally deck. It will activate all your allies, which includes your own hero ability. It will also activate Marshal, which could allow for double activation of all your allies. Benediction and Marshal are both commonly used in the recent Warship and Catapult decks.
Benediction functions best with allies that produce high returns on activation, instead of on feed; Bishop, Warship, Banker, and Marshal are the chief examples. Banker, in particular, will fund the purchase of Benediction in the first place, while Bishop gives you a pleasant spread of resources to answer any situation.
Because of its high cost and its expensive taste in targets, Benediction works best with Loan or Usury for acceleration. It also likes board control to ensure that allies stay on the board to receive the Benediction, so it plays well with Sofocatro, whose natural skull production gives him readily accessible control.
