An incentive modeled after one of the kickstarter backers at the “Villain” level. This character is only playable, outside of campaign mode, for the person it is modeled after. There is no other way to obtain this hero.

Abilities

Countess Aline's ability is: Allies activate upon being killed

Aline's ability feels pretty simplistic, but this forces an opponent to kill targets in order, and a careless opponent may well initiate a chain reaction of effects. Allies such as Marshal, or Lackey are a constant annoyance, but resource drain cards can also force an opponent to play warily.

Favorable Cards

Typically goes for allyspam, retrieval and correct placement of allies. Always keep in mind when it would be a good time to play out a Tavern Wench or a Catapult. On another note, large Daramek allies which tend to return such as Aurochs may also work well with her. As Aline's deck will be quite varied, this will be generalized. One note however, even as Aline: A deck of 10 allies is not worth it. Remember to keep other utility and defensive cards as well. Lastly: Sacrifice does not trigger Aline's ability.

Strategy

As Aline, one tactic may be to deal out as many effects as possible, without altogether much care over intercepts, thus lessening cost for Aline considerably. Intercepts can still be utilized, however they act as more of a resource soaker. She can lay out cards such as Wench, Catapult, Ballista-Spam against most enemies with ease in turn 1. And with a good bank, redraw it. Cards such as Marshal and Lackey can also be placed for amazingly large chain effects,
