Misdirect is a great defensive card for Metris and can work well together with a few cheap allies. It provides sizable defensiveness for its cost while also providing some offensive pressure to discourage the opponent from breaking it. It particularly synergizes with cards like Cutpurse, Lackey and other such 2 or below cost cards, especially on turn 1.
